This One is for Hunter Thompson

I don't know which of my recent election season posts to HuffPo did the trick. Heh. And I don't particularly care.
HuffPo has blocked my further input, or otherwise put my account under some sort of "Double Secret Probation". Though I remain in good standing as a "Super User" (goodie!) apparently so many people have objected to my "truisms" they just immediately shunt my comments off the rage freeway and let them go nowhere: the way the cops pull you over as part of a group of speeders, then mill around, waiting for you to act like an ass, so they can feel extra good about the citation.
But because my brain droppings to HuffPo are my words, I will just use the snipping tool and lay them out for your review: and then you can tell me which one did the trick.
Enjoy:

That's enough for now. There are more of course, sadly. I make no excuses for my behavior. I accept that HuffPo is now wilting toward cowardice as do all of them as they grow from the "blog" stage to media giant. It seems the media is the only arena in the modern age in which the players grow less bold the more powerful they become.
When it comes to good screed, I have no rivals. I accept my own lack of humility in this regard and will try to do...better? (And that's a lie.)
Do I have an inflated idea of my place in this world? Obviously.
When I was a college student of lukewarm academic promise struggling with my math and science classes at university, I read an old article in the Rolling Stone where Hunter Thompson suggested that former U.S. Attorney General Ed Meese needed desperately to be raped by an Elk. And they printed it!
I thought "what balls this guy has!" Many dilettante writers, and I accept that handle, do you worst!, fancy themselves as taking up Hunter's power-fist into the sky.
Since he blew his brains out, there's been no one to take up the cause. I admired his comment of rage toward Ed Meese, because it challenged the status quo. I admire, as I did then, his turn of phrase that no no! he didn't just need it, Ed Meese "desperately" needed Elk rape. Or was it "was in desperate need of being raped by an Elk" or some such turn of phrase. Looking back I don't even remember the context! I just can't get the image out of my head of sweaty, naked Ed Meese, a simply awful character in history working for villains, and a confused, horny Elk on his back. I also envisioned reactionary fascist, certainly overmatched Ed Meese, with his eyes bugged in astonishment. I was floored by it, literally rolling around my dorm room, nearly peeing myself.
The idea Ed Meese would actually be raped by an Elk is ludicrous. Of course not.
But the beautiful rage sang to me like sweet wine.
Desperate need, had he as though a rough moment of copulation with an elk would give a rampant fascist the needed humility to become human once again.
And the image of Hunter typing those words; the anger, the bold righteous anger of that moment when Hunter spoke to me about power, about those in control who used us like sheep, all of it.
There is no one, his equal, as much a testament to his gifts as an indictment on our times. The corporate dark ages, which strangle rage, tame it, put it into a cage, filter it like statistical noise.
No matter, the battle continues.
And here's to you Hunter. I know I am unworthy, but in your honor, and your stead, I raise my fist into the sky and vow death before dishonor.

No, God Doesn't Demand you HAVE A RAPE BABY

It's wrong to insist that Christ is a rape supporter. Just because rapers at heart and perverts with a cruci-fetish want to tout rape as a path to both God and fatherhood, they shouldn't be able to "rape" that into the womb of our U.S. Constitution. I can only imagine men who say such heinous things, or support such ideas and/or candidates, don't have sisters, daughters or wives. Who knows, maybe raping their wives is something the do often, I don't know. Maybe they begat their five kids that way. The point is THEIR god maybe okay with rape-impregnation as a path to fatherhood as was done in Bosnia. My God however isn't. (The Constitution should protect mine from their rapist God). Maybe these politicians have a sex dungeon somewhere where they rape impregnate young women in between sessions of congress, or in between the numerous times they are running for president, I don't know. But RAPE IMPREGNATION isn't okay with me or as a possible legislated future for my daughters. And I think an effective demonstration with a broom handle just might change their views of rape, and might mend their twisted, degenerate, sick ideas of what a "loving God" will allow in a just world. To that end, I invite both Mitt Romney and this sick >>>> who no one ever heard of before this, to sit on one, repeatedly.

Thoughts On the First Debate

Unfortunately Team Obama has underestimated porcine aggression and dishonesty as a tool during election season, as far as gaining the respect of the American public. We Americans now value abusive behavior and naked lies in our candidates over style, class, and honest logical debate. Thus, a man who has flip-flopped since birth, alienated our staunchest allies, rammed both feet into is mouth up to his knees, over and over again, as well as nakedly - with great relish and hatred in his heart - insulted half the public, gains a leg up over the sitting president in only one debate. Yes, we are this stupid, apparently. Yes, our idiot Honey-Boo-Boo-first media doesn't fact check; yes, if we elect Romney because of one debate the rest of the world will have every reason to write us off as utterly irredeemable.

RIGHT-WING TERRORISM

Killing democracy IS terrorism. It promotes violence and chaos, and the associated fascist response to "calm the masses". The right wing of the republican party is all about killing democracy now, all about the terrorism of that.

All last week the Brad Friedman blog was reporting on the fact a lone, paid consulting firm was caught red handed turning in fake voter registration forms in Palm Beach County.

Perhaps sick and tired of people using her office as a viaduct of election thievery, SOE Susan Bucher threw a yellow flag on the field and blew the whistle.

This firm, Allied Consulting, run by  Bush crime family associate and serial-consultant Nathan Sproul was fired by the Republican Party of Florida who quickly threw him under the "zero-tolerance" short bus and vowed "to get to the bottom of everything". (Pfffft... as if they weren't already there.)

In his court-of-public-opinion defense Sproul used the "bad apple" metaphor in a little bus tossing of his own, this time pointing to a former Audi salesman, employed by Allied at a whopping $12 an hour to collect registrations.

Yes, the republican blame chemistry kit did its work and the precipitate at the bottom of the test tube was "that silly little man over there" who formerly sold Audi's in south Florida.

But Friedman expertly pointed out the the "lone penman" theory didn't follow the laws of physics and mathematics as we know them in this universe.

Because, it turned out, when elections supervisors all across Florida went back through some of their more egregious cases of similar appearing signatures and so forth, they found traces of that company's work (whisper the word in a tone of astonished reverence) everywhere.

Seven Florida counties became nine, became eleven. Then other states got into the act: Two states - Florida and North Carolina - have become six - Florida, North Carolina, Nevada, Virginia, Colorado, Oregon and counting as this cancer spreads and continues to do so at an alarming rate.

Never before have we been shown such bold evidence that ALL large corporate televised media are in on this one. Even the allegedly liberal ones. Not one word has appeared on Rachel Maddow. Morning Joe? Nope.

And yet the blogs are humming with the word; alive, like that old Jimmy Buffet song "The Coconut Telegraph".

When I consider the various ways in which the republican power complex has schemed to steal this next election in Florida, alone, I have to admit failure in my ability to alert anyone of import to stop it here in my state. My inability to direct officials to investigate the election of Rick Scott, my further failure to prevent the theft of the next election. I have to own it. I have failed. It will be stolen here.

With the extent of this? Obviously we are too late to stop it. All we can do is vote and hope for the best. But the lengths they have gone to starting with the quasi legal, to the unconstitutional to the fact Rick Scott had his election stolen for him, these combined, do not paint a pretty picture for anyone hoping and praying for a fair election in Florida.

GE owner of MSNBC have done their job in under-reporting this latest issue by silencing alleged liberal voice-boxes on their network, Maddow et al.

Companies like GE want WW III, otherwise why buy up media?  They want Mittster in the White House because Mitt has promised them their war if they give him, his White House. They have done their job in allowing the scheme to defraud the American public, to continue. The liberal punditry have kept their jobs, their cozy digs. And what did you expect them to do, take OUR side? The side of we, the American people?  Get a life, will ya?

I've said it time and time again and the goddamn zombies just will not learn: Rachel Maddow doesn't give a fuck about you. Nor does Chris Hayes, otherwise they both would have said something on this one, by now. These are nothing more than slightly annoying, precocious little children, who do as they are told. They will sell you down river in a heartbeat to continue living in the lucrative world of ego pampering and status.

But now, when this national election is stolen and handed to Mitt Romney - and it likely will be given the scope of this scandal - people will be more convinced than ever, the system IS rigged, and the liberal media is nothing but a paper tiger that has failed us. We will be convinced more than ever that taking to the streets in a coordinated uprising, this time, is the only choice.

In fact. Mr. Jefferson tells us that revolution is our duty as a response to naked tyranny.

The far right of course, is counting on this. They welcome it. Those controlling the far right, know this is coming because they planned it all along. They've shorted the credit and housing markets, cocked up the financial markets,  started two wars we can't pay for, held us up for trillions of dollars in bailout money. (Did you know 96 percent of the bail out money went to the one percent?) They caused the firing of millions of American workers, foreclosed on them when they couldn't make their mortgages. I mean, just go down the list and tell me none of this was planned, especially given a clear pattern of forcing the great mass of us into a tighter and tighter corner.

Insult to injury they have raised up an absolute moron - a soup bubble has more intellect - and have placed him in line to become the next President of the United States, and then they rigged the election in advance for him.

This is in your face, folks. The thievery that makes this happen, the blatant nature of it, is designed to produce societal chaos.

Taken in all, the actions of the leadership of the republican party, meet every definition of terrorism. They have murdered us, they have taken from our pockets, the have built more prisons to house us, attempted to cut short the lives of our senior citizens, and reduced the opportunities of our children, made us fearful, and now they take away our one resource to do anything about all the above, our vote.

Purgatory USA

I have been holding off talking about my latest conversation with the Florida Department of Law  Enforcement.

Reviewing, if you've just joined us. I have filed a complaint against the Hillsborough Supervisor of Elections for violation of our open public records laws. I maintain they are and were illegally withholding documents I have requested relative to the conduct of the election of Nov.2, 2010: yes, the one in which Rick Scott was elected. I have said this election was mishandled at best, the result of a rigged election at worst.

But here's where we are. There's no way in hell they are going to investigate my complaint against the Hillsborough Supervisor of Elections. I have accepted that. But if you can believe it's possible they went a step further than inactivity with regard to this issue. They apparently put it in purgatory. I laid it out pretty good. They can either send it to the state attorney, or drop it. Seems after weeks and weeks they would by now, know which way they are going to go. The facts are straightforward: either the subjects did as stated - and I have videos and I have records of my conversations and emails on this blog - or they did not. Inactivity seems implausible, bespeaking of recalcitrance to move on the obvious.

As an investigative body of the state of Florida they can investigate, rule the allegations groundless and not investigate further, or they can do what they are apparently doing with my complaint, keep it "open" in name only, sit on it, and let it go nowhere.

If they investigate it; fine. If they don't; fine. If they don't and they close it, there will be a public record of their findings leading them to the  conclusion that the allegations were in error or groundless. That's a record that can be reviewed and I might get some information as to why the records were unavailable. On what legal grounds, or whether records were lost or destroyed or never existed at all.

But in claiming it is still "open" and not actually doing anything with it, I get nothing in the way of information. Not a blessed thing. Investigators are prohibited from releasing records from an open investigation. Which is great from the perspective of those wishing to conceal what may be a crime. The perfect black hole into which no light ever shines, nor escapes from.

I called Agent Thompson two days ago. I kept reviewing in my mind the recording of her voice on my cell telling me once again there was "nothing to report." I think this time she said "there has been no change." And, this last time, I could have sworn I heard a smirk in there when she called me to report this. As though just after talking to an office mate she said "hold on a second, I gotta call this whack job." I'm sure it's  my imagination but maybe not, maybe my insanity is the fact I am able to detect these things.

So I called her, then she called me back. Again, "there's been no change." This time I sort of went off. Not cursing and so forth but, definitely with a chiding tone.  I told her that if she had nothing to report then I certainly did.

I told her my deepest wish, the dream I have every night, is that someone in state government is going to grow a spine and a conscience and do their job, enforce the laws, obey the laws and so on. Come to think of it, this was on 9-11. I told her there were dozens, hundreds of cops who walked into those towers knowing any second they could come down. Half of the public workers, cops, and firefighters who went into those buildings to protect the citizens, knew damned well they weren't coming out again, but they did it anyway. Because it was their job, and they had personal courage.

That's not what we have here in Florida, I said. We have a state being run by criminals. We have people stealing elections. We have people hiding, losing or destroying public records. I said I hold very little hope FDLE is taking me seriously. After all this was the agency that waited ten months to tell us that the governor, who "lost" hundreds, maybe thousands of transitional government emails on three different technologies did so accidentally, or at least there was no proof he did so intentionally.

At this point she put me on speaker phone, but what the hell do I care. I said "what good are all these laws if no one enforces them?" No answer of course. There is no answer to a question like this is there. I continued on about the men and women who walk into burning buildings. I said they risk more than a police officer or a detective who refrains from pressing forward with a case for political or career reasons: no response.

I then thanked her and hung up.

We'll see if this means anything. It likely won't. Because this is the real world, where real people don't do there jobs. Where the powerful do whatever the fuck they want and the state agencies look the other way.

This is the real world, of election rigging and made up wars, and if I am rich I send  my kid to Yale while I send yours off to fight those wars to improve my stock portfolio. And fuck you twice as hard on Sunday while I kill your child.

This is the real world we are creating here in Florida, here in the United States of America as well.

Purgatory USA.

Stuffing the ballot box has never been so easy!

Florida's variation on the theme this year is a ballot which in some places like Miami Dade will run ten pages long. Why? Because the eleven amendment referenda items  - all eleven of them up for a vote - will be written out entirely. Lengthy legalese designed to confuse and intimidate and waste man-eons of time.

This has the designed effect of creating longer lines; thereby turning voters away. Cut the number of booths down? You've stuffed the voting booths. Which has the same affect as stuffing the ballot box.

To "help you" deal with this "problem" the supervisors of elections are being coached to "offer" the "solution" of mailing in your ballot! Yay!

Just don't opt for this lie. Just suffer through their bullshit and vote your ballot yourselves. Please.

Pinellas County just mailed out 242,000 absentee ballots!! There are just over 600,000 registered voters in the county. Are we saying nearly half of the voters of Pinellas live overseas? Are they on assignment for the Department of State? Are they working on air craft carriers? No. They just want to vote by mail. Which of course in the next election cycle with be voting via internet. And then we will have completely and totally lost whatever slim handle we have had on democracy.

Yay! Go us!

Here's a sample of what we're dealing with in Brevard County Florida. Well meaning go-alongs from our local occupy movement were more than happy to post this promotional. And you have to wonder where it comes from? Can you say, "the Republican supervisor of elections?"

Note the smiling minority female in the picture. Why, she would never steer us wrong! How do we know? Because being a smiling minority female she's concerned with women's' AND minority issues! Of course. That must be the answer. Note how I am attacked immediately for suggesting voting by mail is a bad idea.

You know you're right when they never address the issue in the counter arguments. After all the scientific veracity of the "what's wrong with you?" counter-argument can never be checked using history, statistical analysis, or even a logic flow-chart.

And here's a clue to all of us! Just because a group uses the word "Occupy" in their name, there's no guarantee they represent the 99 percent, 100 percent of the time!

"Hey! That's false advertising!" you say. "There ought to be a law!" And can you believe it? There's not. It's the internet. Remember?

BradBlog rates voting an absentee ballot for political change about as ineffective as perhaps farting into a shoe-box in order to combat global warming. He has amassed example after example after example.

Of course, if you try to tell anyone any of this these days, for some reason or other, they resist you with all their mighty-might.

That's enough for now. More soon.

Things Still Not Making Sense in Pinellas

Recall: Primary election Aug. 14, 2012. 36,000 ballots that were stored in USB flash drivers, were driven to the elections office rather than modem'd over the network. Still no answer on chain of custody questions we have asked - namely who controls the flash drives in transit? Are they supervised to prevent swap-out?

The official answer as per press release is that a "gateway device" failed. But in the same press release, Pinellas officials also say they could find no defect with the device. But, they replaced the device all the same, since it was obviously "defective." Of course this makes no sense. Essentially the logic flow chart on this press release (Fig.A.) is a an illogical loop (Fig. B.) running to the far right of the page which ends at the desired result for public dissemination called "All Better". Like that, kids? that's how stupid you are according to them.

Also, the "conduct of election report" a legal document - a press release really isn't - a report to the division of elections which if you lie on it, you're in big trouble. Makes no mention of the gateway device, only what was done to work around a problem that may not exist, had no resolution in terms of cause. (Fig. C.)
